Sky is grey, it’s raining and I’m driving; think I’m acting neurotic today
I wanted to stop, for a coffee and some food
But I had specifics in mind following my gut
So I took an exit, random and reckless; liking the feel of the unknown
Til I hit a border I wasn’t ready to cross
Stopped all the traffic, laughing and crying; cuz I had to turn around
But of course they wouldn’t let me go without demanding proof of self and I think
